Priyanka Chopra shares throwback pic with Nick Jonas from MET Gala, has a ‘how I met your father’ story ready for their future kids

Actor Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will be seen at MET Gala 2019 in New York, which begins on Monday. Before that, Priyanka has shared pictures from her past attendance and one of them is particularly interesting. In 2017, her future husband Nick and she made an appearance together at the show, fuelling the rumors of a budding romance. Sharing a picture, Priyanka wrote how she would tell her children the story of how she met Nick.

Sharing the picture as Instagram stories, she wrote: “The story I’ll definitely tell our future kids... How I MET your father.” The two made an appearance in top designer Ralph Lauren’s creations. That was the picture that set of rumors of them dating. However, the two have often denied reports of them dating each other then. It was much later that they got serious about each other.

A couple of days back, Priyanka had shared a college and revealed that Nick and she would be attending the MET Gala again this year and are part of Benefit Committee. She wrote: “From walking the prestigious carpet for the first time, to meeting my husband and many friends for life... Nick and I are honored to be on the Benefit Committee for this year’s Met Gala. Looking forward to the first Monday in May.”

Priyanka also shared other pictures of her look in the last two years that she has attended the show. If the dramatic train of her trench coat made news in 2017, it was her veil in the Christian-theme gala that got everyone talking in 2018. Priyanka had opted for a wine red strapless Ralph Lauren gown with a billowing train paired with an embellished gold chain headdress reminiscent of a medieval knight for her 2018 appearance.

Priyanka was in India in April, reportedly for her brother Siddharth’s wedding to Delhi’s Ishita Kumar. The wedding was called off at the last moment, her mother Dr. Madhu Chopra confirmed to Pinkvilla. She said: “They (Siddharth and Ishita) have mutually called it off.” Priyanka has completed shooting for her next Bollywood film, The Sky Is Pink, which also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
